Prophet T.P Elias addressing partners |
“It is your portion to succeed
because when you succeed you succeed for many”. Uttering these words when
blessing the ministry’s partners, Sunday last week, Prophet T.P Elias further
said that when one succeeds in life he succeeds for himself and his neighbours.
He said that the hand of God was open to bless the partners with success. But
only those with open hearts were to receive the blessing.
The Holy servant of God said that
as the partners were to set up businesses they should be aware of competition and
challenges encountered along the way. He said business people who are still
under the grasp of the principalities of darkness spent sleepless nights in
search for prosperity and powers to pull down their business competitors.
“As they go to many places
seeking help to destroy your business, yours is to put all your trust in the
Lord by spend sleepless nights calling upon his Holy name”, he said.
The man of God further said if
partners put all their trust in God, he was going to prove to them that he is
God through prospering them. He said they must build up their faith using
Psalms 121: 1.
The scripture reads as follows,
‘I lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from?
The Prophet said that whenever he
reads this scripture he envisages David setting his eyes on the hills and
pondering through his mind as to how he was to solve his problems. When the
answer did not come he then posed a question as to whence comes his help. He
said when many people read this scripture they tend to put a full stop where
there is a question mark. He said this has led to a distortion pertaining to
the meaning of the narration.
“Now a lot of people narrates the
scripture as saying my help comes from the hills. That is wrong. Their
narration reminds me of the place where I come from where we grew up being told
to look for help from the hills within our locality. We were told that they
were a domain of our ancestors and our help comes from there. There was also a
myth that anyone who went there never returned but I’ve been there several
times without a thing happening to me”.
According to Prophet Elias, David
clearly narrated in the second verse that his help comes from the Lord, the
Maker of the heavens and earth. He said God can never stay in the hills. He rather
chose a human body to be his temple.
Just like David, he emphasized, partners should seek their help from God
rather than consulting witch doctors, ancestors and other satanic agents.
The other scripture that the
Prophet referred the partners to was Psalms 123:1, which says, ‘I lift up my
eyes to you whose throne is in heaven’.
